Dr. Galdon is a highly skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist and we are thrilled to have her joining our team. Dr. Galdon’s biography and practice areas are listed below.
Dr. Galdon Biography
Dr. Galdon brings more than nine years of expertise in high‑volume, high‑risk obstetrics and advanced gynecologic surgery. Originally from Calgary, Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, completed her MD with Special Training in Research at the University of Alberta, and finished her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency in Edmonton. She began her clinical career at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge before returning to Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton. Dr. Galdon holds AHS leadership certifications, was named Teacher of the Year 2023 at the Grey Nuns Hospital and serves as an Expert Review Physician for the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta.
Dr. Galdon loves Avivo’s holistic approach to gynecologic health and multi-disciplinary services. Collaborating with other health practitioners to provide comprehensive care—including mental health support, physiotherapy and diverse expertise in Ob/Gyne aligns with her approach to patient care.
In her spare time, Dr. Galdon enjoys spending time with her three young children. She is an avid gardener and cook and hopes to get back into hiking in the mountains since re-locating to Calgary.
Practice Opens September 2, 2025
Dr. Galdon will begin seeing patients in clinic effective September 2, 2025. Referrals can be sent for review effective immediately for the following:
- Obstetrics/Pre-natal care
- Surgical gynecology
- Menstrual disorders
- Contraception
