Our team of providers at Avivo Health Alliance recognizes that accessing general, non-surgical gynecology care in a timely manner can be challenging. At Avivo, we strive to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to our patients.
We are pleased to announce that effective, April 15, 2024, Avivo Health Alliance is accepting referrals for our General Gynecology Clinic. Led by Family Physician, Dr. Meagan Brown this clinic is able to see patients for the following:
- Cervical polyps
- Endometrial biopsies
- IUD’s
- Vulvar biopsies
- Basic heavy bleeding
- Simple gynecology issues (i.e. PCOS)
- Non-surgical gynecology
- Difficult PAP’s
Patient visits include a thorough review of their gynecological medical history, an in-depth discussion about their concern and evidence-based treatment options appropriate to their individual needs. Patients initial appointment, follow-up and any recommended investigations are covered by Alberta Health Care.
