We’ve Moved to a New Patient Portal: TELUS Health Connect

Topic: News

Important: Pomelo Health Myself is no longer active. Messages sent through it will not be received by our clinic.

As of October 27, 2026, Avivo Health Alliance has moved to a new electronic medical record system, TELUS CHR. It comes with a new patient portal, TELUS Health Connect.

Our previous portal, Pomelo Health Myself, has been retired. It can no longer be accessed by patients or by our clinic.

Current patients

If you’ve been seen at Avivo in the past 12 months, please download the TELUS Health Connect mobile app. It will be our main way to stay in touch with you.

If you have an upcoming appointment

You’ll receive:

  • An email invitation to join the new patient portal
  • Two required clinic questionnaires to confirm your contact details and review clinic policies

For a short time, you may also get duplicate appointment reminders. We’re sorry for any confusion.

Contacting us during the transition

While our team learns the new system, please expect delays in replies to messages and phone calls.

  • Medical emergencies: Avivo is not an urgent care centre. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest urgent care centre or hospital. If you are more than 12 weeks pregnant or less than 14 days postpartum, go to Foothills Labour & Delivery.
  • Questions that can wait: If your question isn’t urgent, please hold off on contacting us until November 5. This lets our team focus on the transition and keep providing safe, timely care.
  • Staying in touch: Whenever possible, please message us through TELUS Health Connect instead of calling or leaving a voicemail.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this change. We look forward to continuing to care for you.
